Frequently Asked Questions
Do you see NDIS participants?
Yes. But we've chosen not to maintain registration with the NDIA.
You will be able to use your NDIS funding to pay for Physiotherapy with us if;
A. You have a plan with approved budget for Physiotherapy within Capacity Building.
AND
B. Your plan is self-managed (we will invoice you, then you can claim it back), or you have a Plan Manager (we will invoice them).
How many visits will I need?
The aim of therapy is to restore and equip you.
In some cases (eg for BPPV treatment), you might only need 1-2 visits.
In other cases, (eg after a stroke), you might like a series of visits to set up a programme, then you can reach out when you need it.
In the case of a Neurodegenerative disorder like MND, there might be times where it's appropriate to have more regular therapy.

Do you have a Physiotherapy Assistant?
No, not at this time. But I'd love to train your Support Workers or family to help you with things such as exercise!

I live outside the region highlighted on your map. Will you see me?
Maybe. If you live in Western Sydney, and need a Physio to come to your home, it's worth asking. Especially if you have acute vertigo. If you live outside the service area, there may be a small travel fee (we'll discuss this before the visit, so there are no surprises!).

How soon can you see me?
If your needs are urgent (eg you are suffering from a new onset of Vertigo), every effort will be made to see you that same day.
In the case of less acute needs, we should be able to schedule a suitable appointment time within a week.

How do I pay?
Either via cash or EFTPOS at the visit, or you'll be sent an invoice for electronic payment.
Can I use Private Health Insurance?
You will be provided with a full receipt and can claim a rebate from your private Health Insurer.

Can I use Medicare?
Medicare will pay an amount for Physiotherapy only if your GP has completed a Chronic Condition Management Plan and requested that some or all of 5 available Allied Health visits be allocated to Physiotherapy. We are able to claim these payments, where appropriate. There will generally be a gap remaining for you to pay, though in some circumstances we may be able to Bulk Bill.
