Goggles in Vestibular assessment

Our eyes are windows.
To the soul? Yes.
To the mind? Yes.
To the balance system? Definitely!
We are wired to keep our body and vision stable.
When something goes wrong in the balance system, our eye movements give invaluable diagnostic clues as to the source of the error. The best way for a clinician to evaluate some of these deficits is to remove your ability to visually fixate on the environment around you. Videoscope goggles allow us to do just that; using an infrared camera, we can watch your reflex eye movements whilst you are in the dark.
Whilst it is possible to diagnose and treat vestibular disorders without them, videoscope goggles make it much easier to come to a confident diagnosis and solution.
